Compare insurance bundles
Publisher disclosure: Comfy is an independent guide. We don’t sell, quote or arrange insurance. Some links go to partner sites and may earn us a flat fee; partners never pay for a sale and don’t influence our guides. How we make money
Bundling auto and home with one insurer can lower the total, but not always. Price each policy on its own too.
What to compare
- The bundle price vs. the best separate prices from different insurers.
- The multi-policy discount and what happens to it if you cancel one policy.
- Shared or separate deductibles if one event hits both car and home.
- Renewal dates and whether they line up.
Questions to ask any insurer or broker
- What is each policy’s price on its own?
- Does the discount apply every year or only the first?
- If I move one policy, what happens to the other’s price?
